RESUME

Professional

info

I am a person with a passion for Education. My first degree is in Social and Educational Policy, specialised in Educational Policy. In 2010, I had the opportunity to teach at a Foreign Language School. With the appropriate training, I soon realised that Education (in all stages and aspects) is what I want to get involved with. I am still working as an English teacher.

Meanwhile, I am studying at Dundee University to become a primary teacher. I have had my placement in different schools, as you may see in my "Work Experience" section, and I truly believe that Education is not a one-dimensional sector. Education and educators are influenced by simple things in our everyday life. That is why we must be creative and ready to adapt to meet our students' needs.

Education
Conferences
&
Seminars

I believe that self-development is one of the most important parts of every profession. That is why I decided to take part in as many seminars and conferences. If we want to become great practitioners and professionals, we should be able to help our students and meet their expectations. The most one teacher/head-teacher knows about education and psychology, the most he/she will be able to help children.  Here are some of the seminars I have participated.

  • Prevent Bullying

  • Seeking the dynamics of the modern school

  • Learning the Greek Code of Braille

  • Phonological Awareness and Learning of English

  • The Theory and Practice of emotional therapy

  • The gifted and creative child

  • Mental Disorders of Childhood

  • Brain and Reading

  • Greek ADHD Assessment Scale

  • Attention Deficit Disorder - Hyperactivity

  • Emotional Intelligence - E.Q.

  • The area of inner strength between teacher and student
